All of our coffee is roasted in-house by our team. Therefore, every order directly creates meaningful employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

321 Coffee is co‑founded by Lindsay Wrege and majoritively owned by women. Women play key leadership roles across our organization. While we are not currently certified as a woman‑owned business, we’re proud of the leadership behind 321 and the values we bring to how we operate, partner, and grow.

Yes! We offer coffee both whole bean and ground.
We recommend whole bean to maximize freshness, but we understand the convenience of ground coffee and are happy to provide a solution that works best for you.

We offer 321 Coffee Pods that are fully compatible with Keurig machines and are also compostable.

We roast high‑quality, specialty coffees that are ethically sourced and sustainably produced. We proudly partner with importing leaders like Cafe Imports and Ally Coffee, organizations that share our commitment to transparency, ethical relationships, and long‑term producer sustainability.
Our sourcing philosophy is simple: great coffee starts with responsible relationships. From intentional sourcing to careful roasting in our Raleigh roastery, every step is designed to ensure the coffee in your cup tastes great and does good.

Great question! We recommend a 1:17 coffee-to-water ratio.
What does that mean?
For every 1 gram of coffee, use 17 grams of water. This ratio produces a balanced, quality cup of coffee.Quick brew guide:
½ gallon (64 oz / ~1.9 L) → ~112 g coffee
1 gallon (128 oz / ~3.8 L) → ~225 g coffee
1.5 gallon (192 oz / ~5.7 L) → ~335 g coffee
1 liter → ~59 g coffee
2 liter → ~118 g coffee

We recommend storing coffee in airtight packaging. All of our bags include a resealable zipper to help preserve freshness and quality after opening.

In-store pickup
Available at select 321 Coffee locations
Free, pending approval based on order volume and pickup location
UPS shipping
Shipped at cost
Free shipping is available above a certain order volume

Shipped orders
Orders are roasted fresh and shipped within 3 business days of being placed.Pickup orders
Orders must be placed by Monday at midnight and will be roasted fresh and ready for pickup by the end of the same week.
